Why 4 × 6″ is not exactly 100 × 150 mm
One inch is 25.4 mm, so 4 × 6″ is exactly 101.6 × 152.4 mm. In Europe the size made for the same use, for example shipping labels, is 100 × 150 mm. Just set 100 × 150 mm in the printer driver.
Most common sizes
- 4 × 6″ → 100 × 150 mm – shipping labels
- 4 × 4″ → 100 × 100 mm
- 4 × 2″ → 100 × 50 mm
- 2 × 1″ → 50 × 25 mm – price labels and small barcodes
